Over the next few pages, you’ll be asked to provide information about your organisation and operations. This information will help define the scope of your certification and initiate your onboarding into the RSB system.
Before you begin
The final step of this form asks you to agree to RSB's Participating Operator Agreement.
We recommend that you download and review the PO Agreement now and save a copy for your records.
You can save your progress at any point and return to complete the application later.
Please note that applications remain valid for 12 months. If certification is not completed within this timeframe, a new application will be required.

here. In summary:
- Submit your application (this form)
- Public consultation begins (2-week period, following internal review)
- Invoice for the application fee (EUR 500) is sent within 2–3 weeks
- Select an RSB-accredited Certification Body (CB)
- Prepare for your audit, using the pre-audit tools provided
- Undergo the audit and achieve certification.
After submitting your application
- You will receive a welcome email with links to the relevant documents and tools to help you prepare for your audit.
- The application fee of EUR 500 will be invoiced within 2–3 weeks.
This is a separate fee from the audit cost (invoiced by your chosen auditor) and the annual licensing fee (determined by the scope and scale of your operation).

- A notification about your application will be published on the RSB Public Comments page and shared with stakeholders as part of the two-week public consultation period.
This will include: – The name and general location of your operation
– Feedstock type
– End product
– Type of certification requested
During this time, you may proceed to select your Certification Body, schedule your audit, and begin preparations.
